Satomi put his scythe on his back and pulled on his shoes before standing up and leaving out the house. Today him and Kymir would be going all the way to the Snow Valley. It was a long travel but they could handle it. They would be meeting with Micah and Takashi about a bit of extra training. Actually Kymir had asked for Satomi to train him as a Scythe Master. The thing was, Satomi wasn't sure how well that would work out with kymir training under Takashi already and Satomi was now Kage until Kazuya was turned back to normal. And then there was the little fact that Satomi was still training as a Scythe Master himself. Sighing he headed for the location he'd told Kymir to meet him at. Once upon arrival he sat down on the steps of the building and did an invetory check.

Kymir was overly excited as he stepped out the door and headed for the meeting spot. He was going on a mission with Satomi. His bookbag on his back and a grin on his face he raced down the streets until he saw Satomi. "Good morning," Kymir said. He then noticed Satomi checking his stuff. Kymir sat down in the grass and started to do the same thing. He wasn't trying to be a copycat he was just wanted to show that he was determined.

Satomi glanced up as Kymir came and said good morning before settling in the grass and doing his own invetory check. Satomi smiled and went back to checking his things. They would need to stop and pick up some material before heading off completely. He stood up and looked at Kymir. "Got everything you need?" He asked.

Kymir looked at Satomi. "I'm a bit short on smoke bombs," he said. "Guess I should have check up on this yesterday," he said with feeling like he was already messing up. He then stood up and swung his bag on his back. "Other than that I'm ready."

Satomi rubbed Kymir's head. "No problem, I have to pick up stuff as well," he said. "We're going to stop at the shopping district before leaving out," he said. "Come on." Satomi grabbed his bag and scythe and started down the long road to the Snow. Looking over his shoulder every now and then to see if Kymir was keeping up. The further away from the village the more he felt exposed. He didn't see how Stealth Ninja put up with this. He loved the fog that hid the Death Valley. After a few hours of traveling Satomi noticed that they weren't exactly getting any farther away. Is this, genjutsu? He looked around. He could have sworn he'd seen that same broken down wagon before. "Kymir, move," he said as he ran to Kymir and moved him out the way before senbon came down in the spot where he was. "Stay close," he said as he pulled a kunai.

Kymir nodded. "Okay," he said feeling better. He then followed the Satomi. As they walked for hours Kymir became tired. He wanted to take a rest but he would have to get over it. He wasn't gonna bother Satomi on little things. As they walked and walked and walked Kymir wondered how far they had gone. He then stopped as Satomi did. The moment Satomi called his name Kymir looked uowards and then he felt himself being pulled away. He looked up as Satomi said stay close. "Above us," Kymir said as he pulled a kunai out and blocked the ones from above.

Satomi looked up as the kunai clashed and fell limp to the ground. He stood up and pulled Kymir to his feet. "Watch yourself," he said. Just then two ninja came out. Both were of the the Hidden Sand. Satomi backed away some getting into position. "Kymir, these guys are jonin level ninja," he said. Satomi was only a Chuunin himself, but he was sure they'd make it in once peice. "Get ready." One of the Sand Ninja stepped forward. "How about we play a game," he said. "Assassinate the Death Ninja." Satomi grinned and looked at the guy over his glasses. "Come then, let's play," he said.

Kymir looked at the guy as he said that he wanted to assissinate him and Satomi. "Not going to happen," he growled as he pulled his own kunai. He then looked at Satomi as he said they were jonin. "We can take 'em." Kymir quickly regretted it when the guy moved and a kunai cut across his shoulder. Kymir grabbed his arm. He then blocked a second kunai.

Satomi clashed with the other jonin. Already he could tell the difference between their strength. Then he saw Kymir get hit. Hang in there Kymir. He then kicked the jonin back and threw three kunai at him to put some distance between the two of them. Once he had enough space he blocked the jonin that was about to hit Kymir. "Nice try, but that's not going to happen." He said. He looked back at Kymir. "You okay?" He then kicked the other ninja back and pulled out his scythe.

Kymir saw Satomi block the jonin. "Just a scratch," he said as he stood up. Kymir was starting to learn that he wasn't as great as he thought he was. Great was a jonin who fought without fear. And as far as he was concerned, he didn't match up to that, yet. When Satomi got his scytthe out Kymir knew this was no joke. He'd learned that the scythe was like Satomi's final resort and his most powerful weapon. "I think I can take the other guy, he just caught me off gaurd is all."

Satomi looked back at Kymir as he said he'd be fine. "I hope I can trust you with that," he said. He then disappeared clashing with the other ninja. Sparks came from the weapons, but Satomi didn't turn away. He had his glasses on as usual so he wouldn't get the sparks in his eyes, unlike the other guy. Satomi took his chance and pulled a kunai and pushed it into the guys side. Since they were at such a close distance he couldn't put force to his attack but it'd have to do.

Kymir didn't get a chance to answer because the jonin had punched him in the stomach the moment Satomi had moved away. Kymir doubled over. So this was a Jonin, they were bad ass, too bad Kymir was getting the lesser half of meeting one. Dropping to his knees he coughed a few times. The jonin didn't show mercy. He stepped on Kymir's spine. "Having fun yet kid?" He asked. Kymir had never felt so weak in his life. "Get off me you old geezer," he snapped. Kymir pulled out a kunai and pulled his arm far back enough to stab the guy in the leg. The jonin reared back and then kicked Kymir in the side. "You stupid little brat," he said as he continiously kicked Kymir.

Satomi pushed the kunai deeper into the other ninja's side until the guy finally backed up. Satomi didn't let up. He spun around and kicked the kunai that was embedded in the ninja's side. The guy fell over and Satomi went to help Kymir who was being stomped on. Pulling two kunai he threw them at the ninja and slid past the guy grabbing Kymir as he went. Breaking into a roll he stopped halfway down the hill. "Kymir, let me handle him," he said. He knew Kymir would reject the idea, but he could barely handle a jonin himself, so there was no way a Genin could hold up alone.

The ninja stepped back to block the kunai. "Damn you," he said. Kymir smashed into Satomi as they stopped rollin. "Sorry," he said. He then looked at Satomi as he said to stay back and let him hande it. "But..." He stopped. "Okay," he said. Kymir didn't like it one bit, but he had to accept he was no match for this guy. It was impossible to fight like this. He could probably take a Chuunin, but a Jonin, his chances of survival were slim to none. "He's all yours," he told Satomi.

Satomi nodded as Kymir gave him the go ahead. He was grateful that Kymir didn't argue, this wasn't really the time. He then stood up. He had to find a way to beat this guy without relying on the Death Scythe. Looking back at Kymir he glanced at the ninja. "Whatever you do, don't move," he said. "If you do," Satomi paused. "You'll be killed," he said. He then put his scythe on his back. "Ninja Art: Thousand Puppet Heads." The jutsu produced tons of puppet heads throughout the century. The puppets then surround the ninja and closed in weilding deadly blades until the man was dead. Satomi looked at Kymir. "You okay?" He asked.
