Marut stood waiting inside the Kage's Tower, in his office, looking out of the window that overlooked the village. Today was the day that he was going to rid his village of their unneeded protection. Yes, the Infamous Five had done his village good in protecting it, but it was time he let them go. The Storm Valley was nearly fully recovered from the war now, and they'd need the extra money to finish up with the rebuilding. As much as he'd appreciated their help, it was time for them to scram.

So, he wasn't the most conventional guy around. He'd managed to become the Kage though. And that meant a hell of a lot to him. Yes, today he was going to make the Storm Village independent again. It would finally stand on it's own legs once more. Marut had a lot to do. He had squads to rearrange and ninja to reassign. Yes, it would be a long month for him. He expected it to take about a month at least, anyways. He'd called the Infamous Five to his office to give them the news, so for now he was just waiting for them to show up.

Ziade stood in front of the hotel waiting for the rest of the Infamous Five to show up. They'd been summoned by the kage, and she'd notified them all, so now she was just giving them time to get ready. She herself was already ready. She sat on the bench outside of the hotel, simply waiting for them to arrive. She would not scold them for being late, though they weren't late yet. Only if they were very late would they feel the consequences of her irritation.

Akira had made it a necessity never to be late. Punctuality was something he had excelled in. He walked out of the hotel and outside to Ziade. He wondered why she'd called them together. Surely something had to had happened in order for her to do that. Any other time the five of them were off an about. Akira didn't sit, but he walked around and stared across the street where a few children were playing. "Something happen?" He asked.

Ziade looked at Akira as he walked out. He was always the first to arrive. That was something she liked about him, never late. She followed his gaze to the children before looking down the street where the small white fox was trotting towards them with something in it's mouth. It laid at her feet and started eating what looked like some kind of small apple. It was surprising how fast the thing had learned to fend for itself. Ziade had already seen the creature with a few birds before. And they hadn't been live. "Yes. We've been summoned by the Arashikage," she told Akira, looking around at the people that passed by on the street. A few groups looked a bit like ninja squads that hadn't a mission. Ziade said nothing on that though.

linix plum dorp out his hand "i want a kill the kage if hedoesn pay. linix laughs an bites thge plum. "iade im going to kill tat guuy" linix sat on the rialing. "akira you going to help me"linix was mad that they wuld not hav a job but that ment he couulf fight the kage

Akira spotted the white creature. It tended to stick out among all other things with it's pure white fur. Akira kindly smiled at the creature, though whatever it held in it's small jaws made Akira turn his gaze away. As if on cue Linix appeared. His talk was that of defeating the Kage if he refused to pay them their wages. "I'm sure there will be no need of that," Akira spoke lightly. "This man may be a new Kage, but all the same I'm sure Mr. Aido has informed him of our agreement." Akira wasn't one for violence. He preferred peace over anything.

Ziade looked at Linix as the teen came out and started fussing about how he wanted to kill the Kage if the guy didn't pay. "No one said anything about us not getting paid," she told him. "The Storm has been rebuilding as of late, which means they probably don't need us around anymore. Chances are, we're about to be dismissed," she said, her gaze returning to the passing people as she waited for Kyoushiro and Lightning to show up. "Oh, and Linix. Make a scene whilst we are in the Kage's office, and you shall regret it," she informed him. "We are not going to end our contract here by making enemies of the village." She gave a short pause to allow him to take in the information. "Understood?"

Kyou strolled down the street. He'd been off in the village pestering Roan like he'd been doing the last couple of weeks that they had been in the Storm. It was his entertainment since there had been nothing else to do. "Someone say we were being dismissed?" He asked climbing the stairs. "Bout time, it's boring here." He plopped down on the steps and yawned.

Akira didn't look to Ziade as she explained to Linix that she was not going to put up with his misbehavior. The last time they'd seen a Kage, Linix had tried to pick a fight. Akira looked down the street. "Hello Kyou." He greeted with a small nod. "Where have your travels taken you today?" He asked. Kyou seemed to always be away. While Linix was always looking for trouble. Then there was Ziade who seemed to always be handling business. Lightning was never anywhere to be found. And finally there was him. The peace keeper, the listener, the innocent soul that was never to be tainted. Akira smiled lightly.

Ziade looked at Kyou as he came up to them. She never called him Kyou outloud, only when she was thinking. It was much too informal for her to speak nicknames aloud. Despite her rather horrid reputation, keeping up appearances was still a high priority for her. "It was only a guess, but yes, I believe we are to be dismissed today," she told him with a nod. She looked around, wondering where Lightning could've been. She'd summoned the girl as well.

Lightning walked in,swallowing the last bit of an apple before tossing the core in some trash.She looked in surprise heard this bit of news."We're suppose to be dismissed?Why?"she asked.This was not something she expected now.

Ziade looked at the younger girl as she asked why they were to be dismissed. "It is only my guess. But the Storm has been rebuilding faster under this new Kage, he probably believes that he no longer needs us," she explained. He'll regret it though, she thought slyly. Getting up, Ziade dusted off her kimono lightly. "Now that we're all here, shall we off to see what this new Kage really wants?" she suggested, turning and walking away regardless of their answers, knowing that they'd likely follow her. She wanted to see just what this Kage wanted, though she knew already. When they arrived at the tower, Ziade smirked at the familiarity. This is how they'd started at this village. She looked to the guard with an air of calmness. "We've been summoned by the Kage," she explained. The guard nodded and walked through the doors, but said nothing about them going up, so Ziade stayed put.

Marut turned his head slightly when one of the guards knocked on his door. "Yes, I summoned them. You can let'em up," he said casually, his demeanor stating that he was just speaking with another ninja, as always. He turned his gaze back to the window, only turning as the five of them entered the room. Now was the time for him to act the part of Kage. When he was dealing with those who were not originally from his village. He had a specific way of working things, and he was going to stick with it.

"Welcome, welcome," he told them with a light smile. "Since you were hired before I became Arashikage, you probably don't know me. I'm Marut Serius," he said, introducing himself. He felt odd speaking so formally, but he'd assured his higher ups that he could do it. Of course...he'd heard odd things about this bunch. He only hoped he could keep his temper in check long enough to dismiss them properly. He mentally cursed himself for being so weak willed.
